Our Story
Zelene® began with a simple intention — to create a peaceful place where people could relax, reset, and reconnect with themselves.
Founded by Julie Mai, Zelene® started as a small home-based head spa practice in 2022. At the time, head spa was almost unknown in the United States — but the results were undeniable. Clients left feeling lighter, calmer, and visibly healthier from the root.
As demand grew, so did the vision.
In 2023, Zelene® opened its first full-service head spa, officially bringing the modern head-spa experience to the U.S. Since then, Zelene® has expanded across Texas, trained dozens of specialists, and introduced a full line of scalp-care products inspired by our signature in-spa rituals.
Today, Zelene® stands as America’s first scalp-centered wellness brand, rooted in calm, care, and the belief that true beauty begins at the scalp.
